Troubleshooting Torrent Clients#

Connecting VPN to Torrent Client#

You first require a paid VPN with port forwarding enabled; for example, I'll use Proton VPN.

If you're scared of the VPN shutting off in the middle of downloading a torrent, enable the Kill Switch.

Enable Port Forwarding

Copy the port that was created.

Open settings of your Torrent Client, and go to the connection section.

Under the Port used for incoming connections paste the port that was created by the VPN.

After this the VPN is connected to the torrent client and will work exactly like it should.

The issue with this error is either because of two reasons:

Go to the settings of your Torrent Client

Go to the connection section.

At the Port used for incoming connections click on the Random button next to it.

Restart the client.

This should fix the stalled error. If there are no seeders, simply wait or use a different torrent.
